Electric Bike Rentals
Explore the Trails of the Northwoods on an Electric Bike!
Eagle Bikes offers electric bike rentals seven days a week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We're continuing rentals as long as the weather cooperates - or until the first snowfall.
We're a short pedal away from the 3 Eagle Trail and the Eagle River-Land O'Lakes Bike Route. We're a short car ride from the Heart of Vilas County Trail in St. Germain, Sayner and Star Lake, and the Great Headwaters Trails in Conover and Phelps.
Our electric bikes provide peddle assistance, allowing you to explore the beautiful and abundant trails of the Northwoods with as much (or as little) pedaling as you like. Our e-bikes are allowed on the area trails, and we offer drop-off and pick-up service.
We encourage you to call us or reserve your ride on our website, as we may be out of the office if the bikes are rented, or the weather is poor.
You'll find us at 332 West Pine Street (Hwy 70) in Eagle River, Wisconsin. Our building is just west of Hwy 45 North.
Reserve Your Ride Today!
We suggest you arrive 15 minutes or so prior to your reservation so that we can show you the bikes, complete your paperwork, and ensure you're ready to ride!
Our bikes have an approximate range of 20 miles. If you help pedal, you may get up to 40 miles on a ride. If you rely solely on pedal assist, the range is about 20 miles. We frequently include a charger with the bike.
The bikes are set with a top speed of 20 miles per hour, and are permitted on the area trails. Gasoline powered bikes are not allowed on area trails.
Riders must be a minimum of 16 years old.
All Riders must have a state identification card, and a credit card is required for all bike rentals.
Our rental rates are based on our hours of operation (9:00 am to 5:00 pm). If a rental is returned after the hours of our operation, the Rider will be charged for the next day.
As these are electric bikes, riders should avoid water. While the bikes are considered water-resistant, they are not waterproof.
If a bike is returned dirty, full of mud, or in a condition that shows it was ridden through water, there were will be a $100 cleaning fee.
If the bike is returned inoperable and shows evidence of mud or other indicators of having been in water, the $300 deposit will not be returned and the $100 cleaning fee will be assessed.
Your safety - and the safety of our employees - is our #1 concern.
Our safety and cleaning procedures include:
- Limiting the number of people in our office
- Cleaning each bike after every use with sanitizing cleaners that may include bleach
- Using disposable helmet liners that are for single use
- Greeting you with a warm welcome while wearing a mask - and we invite you to do the same while talking with us (and when visiting establishments in the Northwoods)
- Easily accessible hand sanitizer available in our office
- Restroom for customer use that is regularly cleaned with products that may include bleach
We want you to have a safe and enjoyable experience!
